The following message is roaming around of Yasmin Mogahed of her current tour charges. Is it true or not? Can we attend her programs as it has reached us that she may be coming soon to South Africa?
Answer:
When any news comes, we have to verify it before spreading it otherwise we will be taken to task by Allah Ta’alaa thus we were not able to find results to point whether the above of being as true. It could be true or false but the benefit of the doubt will apply. The people of Haqq should especially be concerned of possible traps of such nature. This is done in order to corner them so they can stop.
However this does not absolve her open transgression of the many laws of the Shar’iah.
We do not need to go into her so called bayaanaat in search of her false beliefs. What is apparent is already falsehood. She openly flaunts herself all over social media for all men to drool upon her is a sufficient proof to tell us that she does not bother what her Rabb Subhaanahu wa Ta’alaa says. Once a person is careless about what Allah Ta’alaa says then what Islam can they promote.
Allah Ta’alaa warns her twice in a single verse of Suratun Noor not to expose her beauty:
وَ لَا یُبْدِیْنَ زِیْنَتَهُنَّ
and they must not expose their adornment
Surah al-Noor, Verse 31
If you are female you are not allowed to attend her programs whether now or in the future. You will only learn the art of becoming shameless totally against the teachings of the Qur’aan Shareef. If you are male then there is no question about it, it is totally Haraam.
Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam said:
«لَعَنَ اللَّهُ النَّاظِرَ وَالْمَنْظُورَ إِلَيْهِ»
“Allah’s curse on the one who looks and the one who is looked at”
. رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي شُعَبِ الْإِيمَانِ
