M Menk once said what all the Ulama-e-Haqq are preaching and trying to protect today. So who has caused the disunity? The one who abandoned the Shari’ah or those who are striving to protect the pristine Shari’ah which in this case was once preached.
Similar to the example, a father hands over their family shop for the sons now to take charge. The father had a rule, no alcohol will be sold at their store. For as long as the father ran the shop, no son dared to have changed any ruling. Now that the sons run the store collectively, one son decides that times have changed and they have to include alcohol on their shelves. He comes out boldly, after some time, he convices the others to the point they also affected. Two sons remain on the original teachings of the father: No Alcohol! So who has caused the disunity?
Similar few scholars came out with strange ideas. Now more and more are falling for those strange ideas. Few are left trying to preserve the original teachings of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam. What was strange to the Shari’ah became the norm and now the Haqq has become strange.
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam said,
وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ الدِّينَ لَيَأْرِزُ إِلَى الْحِجَازِ كَمَا تَأْرِزُ الْحَيَّةُ إِلَى جُحْرِهَا وَلَيَعْقِلَنَّ الدِّينُ مِنَ الْحِجَازِ مِعْقَلَ الْأُرْوِيَّةِ مِنْ رَأْسِ الْجَبَلِ إِنَّ الدِّينَ بَدَأَ غَرِيبًا وَسَيَعُودُ كَمَا بَدَأَ فَطُوبَى لِلْغُرَبَاءِ وَهُمُ الَّذِينَ يُصْلِحُونَ مَا أَفْسَدَ النَّاسُ مِنْ بَعْدِي من سنتي» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
“The Deen began strange and will return to the state in which it began (strange) so glad tidings to the strangers, for they will set right the corruptions caused by people in my sunnah after my demise.” (Muslim)
The Qur’aan Shareef and Ahaadith Mubaarakah have clear instructions with these laws they seek to change. The law of pardah does not just refer to a face veil for women alone. It is a complete seperation of men and women.
Do you recall how the Imaam of Masjidul Haraam was arrested for speaking the truth? People tend to say lame statements such as the Indo-Pak Ulama are too strict. The Truthful are considered criminals and the liars are considered truthful?
It is not an issue of Indo- Pak or not. It is an issue of the Shari’ah or not.

To ensure our hearts are clean, if M. Menk returns to the Shari’ah we will embrace him and if he continues to propagate baatil then we will be forced in shaa Allah, to inform the Ummah to protect them from falling into the trap of evil!
