“Alleged criminal deceitfully holding onto purse strings at Madressa Zakariyya
O Ummah your Lillah and Zakaat is at stake!
One of the ‘trustees’ of Darul uloom Zakariyya who allegedly holds a criminal record, is standing in the way of fixing years of financial irregularities in the Darul Uloom caused by a member of his family, who also happens to be a trustee. The principal has put in structures by bringing in key donors to the institution for financial oversight (of public funds) and he his hindering this.
Not only that, the incumbent personality has contacted teachers of the madressa to try and cause a revolt due to the purse strings now being tied. We want to pose questions to him which he needs to answer publicly or resign as a trustee, due to being unfit, both morally and Islamically:
1. Is he afraid of the financial oversight due to irregularities caused by himself and / or his family members?
2. Does he himself have a criminal record? If so, is he fit to stand as a trustee of an esteemed Islamic institution?
3. Is he open to do a thorough financial audit of himself and the institution?
4. What gives him the right to contact the teachers directly? Overriding the principal?
5. Is there a hidden agenda? Mr Bathia should understand the role of the principal is that of an Ameer, he had supposedly spent time in Jamaat, he should well know the grave error disregarding the Ameer.

The public is urged to protect the sovereignty of the institute from external influence and also to demand answers from this trustee who fears financial accountability for the public institution that his family have treated as a personal asset for many years. Answer:
Before understanding the message above, it is important to understand what had taken place before and after. Efforts over the years have been in place to hijack Darul Uloom Zakariyya once it had gained its prominence. The idea as we speak is to virtually and smartly revolutionize this once great hub of Deen. The name Zakariyya came about at a time when there was no structure. The great luminary Hazrat Sheikhul Hadith Moulana Zakariyya Khandlawi Rahmatullahi Alaihi on his visit to South Africa in 1402 (1981) was requested to make Dua for an institution which would serve as a guidance and knowledge for humanity. Lo and behold this Dua was heard in the heavens. Moulana Zakariyya Rahmatullahi Alaihi then passes away in the same Islamic year 1402 on the 1st of Shabaan.
As we see the demise of the pious is not the demise of their legacy rather two years later in 1404 (1983) the barren now turned fertile with the beautiful name Zakariyya would now be the hub of guidance and knowledge for humanity as Rasulullaah Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “The example of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like abundant rain falling on the earth, some of which was fertile soil that absorbed rain water and brought forth vegetation and grass in abundance”
مَثَلُ مَا بَعَثَنِي اللَّهُ بِهِ مِنَ الْهُدَى وَالْعِلْمِ كَمَثَلِ الْغَيْثِ الْكَثِيرِ أَصَابَ أَرْضًا، فَكَانَ مِنْهَا نَقِيَّةٌ قَبِلَتِ الْمَاءَ، فَأَنْبَتَتِ الْكَلأَ وَالْعُشْبَ الْكَثِيرَ

- After many years of the Darul Uloom Zakariyya’s operation, a suburb was also formed named Zakariyya Park.
Although many dirty onlookers had their ploys and plans, the institute has sailed through its storms with the vision of the principal, Hadhrat Moulana Shabbier Saloojee حفظه الله as well as those that assisted in teaching, preaching and sponsoring to uphold the very teachings of the Qur’aan Shareef and Sunnah Mubaarakah taught by the institute’s spiritual mentor, Hadhrat Sheikhul Hadith Moulana Zakariyya Khandlawi Rahmatullahi Alaihi.
However as the institute has grown older, some eyebrows have been raised at the trustworthiness of certain ‘trustees‘. Dirty tricks have thus been key in this game with elementary students being brainwashed into believing their principal is otherwise thus when they come to the eventual years of learning under him (the principal), they would already have developed a bad image of their one of two teachers of the most important subject of the Aalim course and that is Sahih al-Bukhāri. Bad words and thoughts are all part and parcel of this evil transformation. However when one comes into contact with the humble personality then we understand the objective of that particular build up. One should know the move is to remove Principal Hadhrat Moulana Shabbier Saloojee حفظه الله so as to finally at once pierce all barriers, going full force into modernising the Darul Uloom. Once this is done, the institute with so much of sacrifice and sweat will now fit the low standard of Jamiatul Ulama South Africa. Photography, Shias, Interfaith, Intermingling and all the rest of the Haraam will now become legalised. This is the secret plan. In achieving the above, Abu Goodwill adopted a sly move directly messaging the teachers of Darul Uloom Zakariyya attempting to create a ‘no confidence’: 
This was all done because there was a request for all donors to receive their right of having a forensic audit done so as to confirm their millions was well spent in the right real course of Allah Ta’alaa. However, due to the pressure building up, it has resulted in this desperate maneuver above. In short, they want Moulana Shabbier Saloojee حفظه الله to resign so no questions or audits can be asked and at once they could do as they please. The Ummah should take a firm stance in this issue, it is a public issue and if they do not defend it, the institute (Allah Ta’alaa forbid) may turn into another Al-Azhar university where all original principles are long lost and gone.
May Allah Ta’alaa protect all our Darul Ulooms from fitnah and fasaad and guide the modernists, if not, remove them and their interests. May Allah Ta’alaa protect all our Ulama-e-Haqqani who are striving, teaching and preaching with every breath the pathway our true Akaabireen had shown us which is ideally the Qur’aan and Sunnah.
