On the 6th of October 2024, Palestine Solidarity Alliance decided to hold their annual march. Scores of insecure Muslims ran on the streets for some entertainment. Ask the organisers and the participants, “where was there any Islam?” We have bypassed the intermingling factor, we have lost all Hayaa. When our Hayaa is lost then do as what you want. This legacy of Hayaa has come down through the golden lineage and ages of Ambiyaa Alaihimus Salaam which the Ulamaa are heirs of. Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam said:
“ إِنَّ مِمَّا أَدْرَكَ النَّاسُ مِنْ كَلاَمِ النُّبُوَّةِ الأُولَى إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحِي فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْتَ ”
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, ‘One of the sayings of the early Prophets which the people have got is: If you don’t feel ashamed, do whatever you like (Haya’: shy to break the commands of Allah Ta’alaa).
Sahih al-Bukhari 6120
وَفَضْلُ الْعَالِمِ عَلَى الْعَابِدِ كَفَضْلِ الْقَمَرِ عَلَى سَائِرِ الْكَوَاكِبِ إِنَّ الْعُلَمَاءَ وَرَثَةُ الأَنْبِيَاءِ إِنَّ الأَنْبِيَاءَ لَمْ يُوَرِّثُوا دِينَارًا وَلاَ دِرْهَمًا إِنَّمَا وَرَّثُوا الْعِلْمَ فَمَنْ أَخَذَ بِهِ أَخَذَ بِحَظٍّ وَافِرٍ “
And superiority of the scholar over the worshiper is like the superiority of the moon over the rest of the celestial bodies. Indeed the scholars are the heirs of the Prophets, and the Prophets do not leave behind Dinar or Dirham. The only legacy of the scholars is knowledge, so whoever takes from it, then he has indeed taken the most able share.

However when this scholar strays and Shaytaan grips him, then his example is that of a dog or even a donkey. (See Suratul A’raaf, Verse 175 for the similitude of a dog and great scholar who was granted divine knowledge but shaytaan gripped him and the similitude of the donkeys, Suratul Jumu’ah, Verse 5.)
There is no prick of Taqwa that is left. The Ummah has disregarded pertinent aspects of Deen. How then do we expect to draw the help of Allah Ta’alaa. Well one has to question which so called Islamic organisations with their instruction initiated or the least by their very engagement in the past, stamped these major blows to Islam as “Islam”. In effect the Ummah of Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam engages in utter Haraam and feels this is going to rescue Palestine. You engage lovingly with the enemies of Allah Ta’alaa and allow the Muslims to engage in music and poetry? Where were the Ulama whose names appear on these occasions and by action permit these programs, why did they not stop the Haraam? Every single one of us repent and reform if we sincere in our quest for good conditions local and abroad.
Of course, it is not that they cared but rather chose to push the agenda forward allowing others to get stuck in the lizard’s hole. They do not care for you nor Palestine. Let’s speak facts, when you invite the wrath of Allah Ta’alaa, we ourselves are in danger.
“That the heavens are about to explode therewith and the earth to burst and the mountains to fall down crumbling. That they have ascribed a son to Ar-Rahmaan (The All Merciful). “
