MJC FOUND ON MORE VARK – EVIDENCE SPEAKS
THE UMMAH LOSING HOPE IN HALAAL CERTIFIERS

This has come to the attention of the public, Alhamdulillah via the Majlis. MJC labels have been found on pork products once again. Here is the article:
ANOTHER PORK-VARK SHENANIGAN – The Majlis
The MJC seeks to play the game ‘not guilty until proven’ with consistent claims these are all mistakes. Halaal Times highlighting the matter in detail says:
“The controversy began when customers discovered pork products at Cinnamon Square Spar mislabeled with the Muslim Judicial Council Halal Trust (MJCHT) certification logo. For Muslims, who adhere strictly to halal dietary laws, this error was both offensive and misleading. Pork is considered haram (prohibited) in Islam, and labeling it as halal was perceived as a severe breach of trust.”
Question:
Why does SPAR have excess labels of MJC in the first place? This raises the eyebrow due to the fact that there is no real thorough control and inspection of who prints and gains possession of these labels especially since they do not have any affiliation with the store. Halaal times reported, “the MJCHT confirmed that it has no affiliation with the store, further complicating the situation.”
Halaal Times further reported, “Cinnamon Square Spar issued a public apology to address the mistake”.
Mistakes happen once and even once for a single believer to consume pork is definitely by no means something small. Over and over again the same mistakes?
