According to The Information Center: “The  Mecca cinema will be the first ever built in the Al-Abidiyah district of Makkah, near Umm Al-Qura University.

The same report tells us, “in 2023, SEVEN awarded contracts worth $2.5 billion for a series of entertainment projects across the Kingdom.

The Mecca cinema, valued at SR1.3 billion ($347 million), is being built by Modern Building Leaders (MBL) in the Al-‘Abidiyah district near Umm Al-Qura University, outside the Masjid al-Haram complex.”

The project covers an area of 80,000 square meters.

The Information Center: “with some supporting the development as a step to modernising Saudi Arabia”.

The Salafis who claim to be the most upright followers of the Quraan Shareef have shown deviated they are. Quraan Shareef says:

and do not help each other in sin and aggression. And fear Allah. Surely, Allah is severe at punishment

Verse 2: Suratul Maaidah

Thus supporting this step of Dajjali modernisation is forbidden. Not too long ago the Salafi character, Abu Taymiyyah who came to South Africa made this statement in praise of the Murtaddeen demolishing Islam at our very Qiblah:

Now go and see how many Salafi kind scholars have been invited to South Africa. Do not let them get to you, just ask them about the Kufr promoted in the “Kingdom“.

Allah Ta’alaa gives a stern warning to such demolishers:

 وَ مَنْ یُّرِدْ فِیْهِ بِاِلْحَادٍۭ بِظُلْمٍ نُّذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابٍ اَلِیْمٍ۠

And whoever intends therein (the Haram) to commit deviation with injustice, We will make him taste a painful punishment
Verse 25 of Suratul Hajj

What is the meaning of Ilhaad (deviation) from the above verse?

“It needs to be clarified here that all things forbidden by the religious code are forbidden everywhere and will attract punishment wherever committed; and the specific reference to haram in this verse is to emphasize the fact that just as a good deed performed within its limits will be generously rewarded, similarly a sin committed there will attract the most severe punishment. “(Mujahid).

Sayyidna ` Abdullah Ibn Masud ؓRadhiyallahu ‘anhu has related another interpretation of the word ilhad to mean that whereas at any other place the mere intention to commit a sin does not constitute a sin unless it is actually committed, within the limits of the haram even the resolve to commit a sin is punishable, as if it has actually been committed. Qurtubi has adopted this interpretation from Ibn ` Umar Radhiyallahu anhu and lends his own support to it.

Whenever Sayyidna ` Abdullah Ibn ` Umar ؓRadhiyallahu ‘anhu went for the Hajj, he used to set up two tents – one within the limits of haram and the other outside it. If ever an occasion arose when he needed to scold or rebuke any one of his households, he would do it in the tent which he had set up outside the limits of haram. When people asked him the reason for this, his answer was that the words کلَّا واللہ or بلٰی واللہ which a person normally uses when angry also constitute إلحَاد فی الحَرَم (committing an act of sin within the precincts of haram). (Mazhari)

All this money is being spent to roll the red carpet for Dajjal whilst the world asks what is there that is being spent to liberate Palestine?
