STRIPPED OFF AS A MUFTI & IMAAM @ QUWWATUL ISLAM, LENASIA

Question:
We had a joker as an Imaam. One does not have to go far to see his own sins which HE HIMSELF makes public. He refers to himself on instagram as oneman. He is seen with pony tails and two lengths haircuts. Modern hubs such as Qurtuba and Masjidun Noor calls him Mufti though the institute he studied has stripped him as a Mufti. Last but not least, he replaced Moulana Bilaal Cassim at Quwwatul Islam in Lenasia. This was due to the trustees hardcore persistence on satan worship namely social distancing. However he is the ex Imaam of the Masjid now. Please advise the Ummah on such individuals whom Masaajid still refer to as Mufti:

Answer:
It is painstaking having to read the above. It is by no means no joke anymore what is happening to the Ummah. One would not believe your words until it is presented to the eye. You have correctly referred to the ex Mufti (and now the news has come out that he is the ex Imaam too) with the correct title of joker.
Here is the evidence:
Regards to him being an Imaam and due this obstinate behaviour rejecting the advice of teachers with regards to holding on to the true teachings of the Shariah, he has chosen to go full force with the modernists.

In Abu Dawood, the Hadith comes with regards to Imaams who cause harm to the Deen of Allah Ta’alaa and Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam:
A man led the people in prayer. He spat towards qiblah while the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم was looking at him. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said to the people when he finished his prayer: He should not lead you in prayer (henceforth). Thenceforth he intended to lead them in prayer, but they forbade him and informed him of the prohibition of the Messenger of Allah He mentioned it to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم who said to him: Yes.
The narrator said: I think he (the Prophet Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) said: You did harm to Allah and His Messenger (Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam)
Leading a Congregation
An Imaam who leads a congregation when a group more than three dislikes him not for personal issues but for Shari reasons then only there will be consequences for such an Imaam.
Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam said:
“There are three whose Salaah will not be raised above their ears:
- The runaway slave until he returns
- A woman who spends a night while her husband is angry with her,
- and a people’s Imam whom they dislike.”
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 360
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 359
Commenting on this Hadith in Tirmidhi, Sheikh Mansoor Rahimahullah says, “I asked about the matter of Imaamat.“It was said to us, “this only refers to the instance of oppressive Imaams (Imaams who do not abide by the Shariah). As for those who are firm on the Sunnah, then the sin is only on those who dislike him”
In yet another Hadith of Tirmidhi, Anas Radhiyallahu anhu reports:
“Allah’s Messenger cursed three people: A man who leads people (in Salat) while they dislike him, a woman who spends a night while her husband is angry with her, and a man who hears: ‘Hayya Alal Falah (come to success)’ then does not respond.”

Imaamat of one who watches television is highly rejected. What do you say about the one who acts in these reels dressed like the Kuffaar and acting with vapes?
In Fatawa Darul Uloom Zakariyya on page 268, under the title: The Imaamat of a person who watches television
“A person who watches television and movies is classified as a faasiq and faajir, and it is makruh tahrimi to perform Salaah behind a faasiq and a faajir. Thus such a person should not be appointed as an Imaam”
A Message to Trustees
Jamiatul Ulama South Africa has prepared an excellent document with regards to trustees. It is really sad that it has been thrown under the Masjid carpets. We reproduce it here:
Just a single Hadith from there:
Ma’qil bin Yasaar radhiyallahu anhu narrates that Nabi sallallahu alayhi wasallam said: “Allah forbids
Paradise to the person who after having been appointed to a post of authority over the Muslims, dies
after having breached the trust.” (Bukhari)
Now it does not behove of a trustee to boot an Imaam on the Sunnah for an Imaam who parades with the seat of the devil on his head.
Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam referred to the ponytail as the seat for the devil:
referring to the back knot of the hair.
Regards to the two length haircuts, Darul Uloom Azaadville’s Darul Iftaa has responded to this:
Two-Length Haircut For Neatness – Darul Ifta – Darul Uloom Azaadville – Madrasah Arabia Islamia
Trimming the hair on the sides and leaving the upper portion of the hair untrimmed will result in having two lengths of hair which resembles the current fashion or hair style of the transgressors, even though your intention is otherwise. Such haircuts are prohibited in the Hadith.
In a narration of Abu Dawud Sharif, Ibn Umar Radiallahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam had seen a child on one occasion whose head was partly shaven and partly unshaven. Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam prohibited him from doing so and said:
“If you want to shave the hair then shave the entire head and if you want to keep hair, then keep hair on the entire head.”
[Abu Daud pg.225 vol.2 / Mishkaat pg.380]
In Fataawa Mahmoodiyya, Hadrat Mufti Mahmood Hassan Saheb Gangohi Rahimahullah has stated,
“To trim part of the hair and keep part of the hair untrimmed is prohibited.
In Ahsanul Fataawa, Mufti Rashid Saheb Rahimahullah has stated, the impermissible ways of keeping hair are as follows;
1. Shaving part of the head and leaving the remainder unshaven, or trimming part of the hair to a greater extent and leaving the remainder shorter or untrimmed.
2. To keep such hair that is a symbol of the Kuffar (i.e. the Kuffar keep such hairstyles.) The rationale/reason of prohibition here will be resemblance to the Kuffar. However, the style/fashion of the Kuffar of one’s era will be taken into consideration.
In order to achieve neatness, we suggest that you trim all the hair including the sides so that the hair remains one length as far as possible.
Update:
Though he is the ex Imaam of Quwwatul Islam, other Masaajid and trustees should be warned of him.
