Hopeful After the Shameless Bela Bill was Enforced

The passing of this destructive bela has caused a lot of despondency in the hearts of those who tried their level best to oppose it. We present to you below the advice given by Hadhrat Moulana Yunus Daya Rahmatullahi Alaihi when threats were made to enforce the marriage bill and people started passing comments but you did not expect to win. This in shaa Allah Ta’alaa should give courage not just to this bill but going to any effort that requires instructing good and stopping evil in accordance to the Sharia’h then this should assist when the results turned different to the expectations.

This bayaan was rendered on the 24 Dhul Hijjah 1442, 03 August 2021 at the Marlboro Jaame Masjid by Hadhrat Moulana Yunus Daya Rahmatullahi Alaihi:

A long time ago there was a Jewish community and they were living along the sea shore. They were Jews, Jews are very devious. Saturday is their Sabbath. They are not allowed to do any work on a Saturday. They were
fisherman, they used to cast their nets Sunday, Monday, until Friday and nothing would happen. However on Saturday, the day of the Sabbath, they used to see all the fish in the water. So these devious Jews decided to cast their nets into the water on a Friday night and leave it there and on Sunday they will pull it out and which will be full of fish. In other words they were meddling with the law of Allah Ta’ala.

One group of people told them,

“Don’t do this, Allah will punish you!, Allah will punish you severely if you do a thing like this”

Allah Ta’ala was testing them. There was another group that
told them,

“Why do you want to admonish these people they are not going to
listen to you”

The answer they gave is,

قَالُوْا مَعْذِرَةً اِلٰى رَبِّكُمْ وَ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَتَّقُوْنَ

“to be absolved of guilt before your Rabb” 

Surah al-A’raaf: Verse 164

In the eyes of Allah Ta’ala we are clear. We have fulfilled our responsibility, we warned them,
whether they listen or not, they are answerable. We are clear in the eyes of Allah Ta’ala, we tried.

“to be absolved of guilt before your Rabb”

In the eyes of Allah Ta’ala we are clear. That Ya Allah we have tried. Therefore in the event this bill
gets passed even though we opposed it, then we are not guilty because we tried our best.

“to be absolved of guilt before your Rabb”

In the eyes of Allah Ta’ala we are clear. Remember this! The scholars say there were three groups.
One who carried out the practise, the group that warned them and the third group that said nothing.
In the Quran Sharief Allah Ta’ala does not mention the third group that said nothing. Those people who carried out this deed, Allah Ta’ala turned them into monkeys, because they were messing around with the law of Allah Ta’ala. They were arrogant, so Allah Ta’ala turned them into monkeys.

The group that tried to stop them, Allah Ta’ala honoured them. Because they fulfilled their responsibility.
Therefore we must understand that people will say:

“why are you objecting to this, you are not going to succeed anyway,
you are wasting your time”.

No! We have to be a dissenting voice, so at least in the court of Allah Ta’ala we did state our case. And if Allah Ta’ala wills we will win the case. We must make Dua.
