QUESTION
My Imaam Saheb mentioned that abstaining from photography is “the better way to go”. We have always known that photography is absolutely Haraam, kindly clarify.
ANSWER
Photography is absolutely Haraam. By your Imaam Saheb saying that abstaining from photography is “the better way to go”, he is implicitly saying that photography is acceptable but better to abstain from. This is far from the reality! Refraining from photography is not optional, it is comnpulsory.
