EIDGAH PARTY WITH FEMALES IN LENASIA

Question:
In Lenasia extension 11b there will be an eidgah with females with Attorney Hafez Muhammed Coovadia lecturing and Ml Abdulhai Molvi performing the Salaah. Are we permitted to go?
Answer:
It is Haraam to attend that eid party whether it a attorney or a Moulana will be conducting the lecture. A person does not change the Haraam. 30 days you spent in acquiring Taqwa and one whiff of a female in the name of ibaadah will throw you from the top right to the bottom. Go to Masjid Abi Zar for an alternative.
Refer to Fatawa Darul Uloom Zakariyya in volume 2:
Women going to the ‘id gäh
Question
It is established from authentic Ahādīth that women used to attend the ‘id gah. Why do the Muslim women of South Africa not attend the ‘id gāh?
Answer
The women during the prophetic era used to go for the ‘id salah. There is also proof that they used to go for the other salāhs. However, due to the corrupt times in which we live, the latter day scholars unanimously prohibited women from going to the ‘id gah or the masājid.
Imdad al-Fattah
Women must not attend congregational salāhs at all times. This is so because an old woman is just as prohibited from attending the congregational salah, ‘id salah and so on just as a young woman is prohibited. Thus she is prohibited from emerging from her home. This is why her salah in the depths of her house is superior to her salah in the courtyard of her house.
Fatawa Dar al-‘Ulüm Deoband.
In today’s times, in fact even much before, it is prohibited and makrüh for women to join the congregational salah in the masjid and to go to
the ‘id gah. It was prohibited from the very era of the Sahabah radiyallahu ‘anhum as stated in the Hadith.’
Fatāwā Mahmūdīyyahı.
Hadrat ‘A’ishah radiyallahu ‘anha said: “If Rasûlullah It is prohibited because of the proliferation of temptation and sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam were to see the present condition of the women he would have prohibited them from going to the masjid.” Some Sahābah radiyallahu ‘anhum resorted to certain measures to stop their wives from going to the masjid.
Ahsan al-Fatāwā.
It is makrüh tahrīmī for women to join the congregational salah as stated in Radd al-Muhtar
‘Umdah al-Fiqh
It is makrūh for women to attend the congregational salah.
Fatāwā Bayyināt
When Hadrat ‘Umar radiyallahu ‘anhu stopped the women from coming to the masjid during his caliphate, all the Sahābah radiyallahu ‘anhum approved of his decision and no one objected to it. However, a few women complained to Hadrat ‘Umar radiyallahu ‘anhu but Hadrat ‘Ä’ishah radiyallahu ‘anha concurred with his decision and said: “If Rasūlullah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam were to see the present condition of the women he would have prohibited them from going to the masjid.” (Sahih Bukhari
Dars Tirmidhi
Imām Tahāwī rahimahullah says that in the beginning of Islam women were permitted to go for the congregational salah in order to demonstrate to the enemies of Islam the large number of Muslims. This reason no longer remains. ‘Allamah ‘Aynī rahimahullah says that permission based on this reason was given in an environment of safety, but now both factors [demonstrating the large number of Muslims to the unbelievers and safety] no longer remain. Thus, permission should not be given.
Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah states:
Hadrat Abū Hurayrah radiyallahu ‘anhu narrates that Rasûlullah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: “If they emerge, they must emerge while they are foul-smelling.”
Ap Ke Masa’il Aur Oen Kā Hull.
The blessed era of Rasûlullah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam was free of temptation and corruption. On the other hand, women needed to learn the injunctions. This is why they were permitted to go to the masjid. Certain conditions were attached to this permission: they had to be in purdah/hijab, they must be dusty and grimy, and they must not beautify themselves. Despite this, they were encouraged to perform their salah in their homes…However, when women no longer adhered to the conditions which Rasūlullah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam had laid down, the permission was no longer valid. Based on this, the jurists who are really wise sages state that it is makrüh for women to go to the masjid.
