Yes. He was. In fact he said statements which makes a person lose their Imaan. He compared the Kuffar Asad Regime armies to Sahaabah Radhiyallahu anhum. Thus we should not promote the Shaytaani efforts and their messages. Though Shaytaan also spoke the truth once. Once Shaytaan taught Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah Radhiyallahu anhu ayatul kursi.
Nabi Sallahu Alaihi wa Sallam said,
“He told you the truth, although he is a liar. That was Satan.”
