Jamiatul Ulama South Africa’s mouthpiece announced: “The Jamiatul Ulama South Africa (JUSA) has concluded its elective Annual General Meeting (AGM), with Moulana Ebrahim Ismail Bham elected as its new president for the next four years.”
For now just take note of the names in bold below from Radio Islam’s website:
“The new leadership team comprises President Moulana Ebrahim Ismail Bham, First Deputy President Moulana Ayoob Mohammed, Second Deputy President Moulana Ebrahim Pandor, Secretary General Moulana Yusuf Ismail Patel, First Assistant Secretary Moulana Sulaimaan Mohammed Ravat, Second Assistant Secretary Moulana Obeidullah Bhoja, Treasurer Moulana Heider Ali Dhorat and Assistant Treasurer Moulana Ismail Varachia. JUSA has served the Muslim community since 1923.”
Radio Islam’s title “Moulana Ebrahim Bham Elected JUSA President” seems to create a sense of excitement as if they are giving some news of something unexpected. However just analysing this word “elected” tells us that their heading is deceptive.
According to dictionary.com, elected means “chosen by vote, as for an office”. In otherwards an elected official. https://www.dictionary.com/browse/elected.
Did the Jamiatul Ulama SA not have anybody to replace the Moulana who openly changes the meanings of the Quraan Shareef in their syllabus thereby changing the meaning of the Quraan Shareef. This is all done to introduce his new concept of the kufr interfaith which has plagued the world.
Did they have to cook up an elections for this to take place? They had an AGM, this Sunday the 6th of August 2026 that passed but the AGM was not for a fair vote. The AGM was to announce the already announced.
Therefore their cooked up election is not some revelation or something. It is tricks utilised by such organisations to secure their positions operating like Trump and the rest of the corrupt leaders in the world. They have mastered the art in this due to their many years under the governments duvet. Let us look at us critically look at message again. Notice the date this message was sent:

Pursuant to the above, the following individuals have been duly nominated for the respective offices, as set forth below:

1.1. President: Moulana Ebrahim Bham was the only nominee for the
position of President.

1.2. First Deputy President: Moulana Ayoob Mohammed was the only
nominee for the position of First Deputy President.
As there are no further nominees, the position of First Deputy President
will be uncontested.
1.3. Second Deputy President: Moulana Ebrahim Pandor was the only
nominee for the position of Second Deputy President.
As there are no further nominees, the position of Second Deputy
President will be uncontested.
1.4. Secretary General: Moulana Yusuf Ismail Patel is the only nominee for
the position of Secretary General.
As there are no further nominees, the position of Secretary General will
be uncontested.
1.5. First Assistant Secretary: There are three nominees for this position,
namely, Mufti Ahmed Laly, Moulana Sulaimaan Mohammed Ravat
and Mufti Muhammed Ahmed (Bulbulia).
Elections will be held for the position of First Assistant Secretary.
1.6. Second Assistant Secretary: There are three nominees for this
position, namely, Moulana Obeidullah Bhoja, Mufti Humayd Ali and
Mufti Riyaadh Laher.
Elections will be held for the position of Second Assistant Secretary.
1.7. Treasurer: Moulana Heider Ali Dhorat was the only nominee for the
position of Treasurer.
As there are no further nominees, the position of treasurer will be
uncontested.
1.8. Assistant Treasurer: Moulana Ismail Varachia was the only nominee
for the position of Assistant Treasurer.
As there are no further nominees, the position of Assistant Treasurer
will be uncontested.
